LICR Ranks in Top 10 in World SIR RANKINGS

The SCImago Institutions Ranking World Report 2009 ranks the best 2000 worldwide research institutions and organizations and analyzes its research performance in the period over five global indicators of output, collaboration and scientific impact.

LICR ranked number nine in the average scientific impact of its publication output in terms of citations per document (CXD). Shown values express average citations received by an institution’s published documents over the whole period.

LICR also had a normalized SJR score of 1.16, the 22nd highest in the world. The normalized SJR score shows the average journal importance where an institution’s output is published. A value of greater than 1 means that on average the papers of an institution that have been published in journals whose “importance” is above average in its scientific field.
